One Year Bible: Day 184 - 2 Kings 6:24-8:15; Acts 22:22-23:11; Proverbs 16:8-17
"Go to meet the man of God. Consult the Lord through him" (2 Kings 8:8).
The servants of the Lord were appointed to serve the people in the Name
of the Lord. God's servants are to lead the people to a deeper
knowledge of God. The Lord said to Paul, "Take courage! As you have
testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome" (Acts
23:11). God gives a ministry to His servants. He gives them courage to
fulfil this ministry. "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord
determines his steps" (Proverbs 16:9).
