“God sends His love and faithfulness” (Psalm 57:3).
When we’re reading a book like Judges, we must remember the faithful
love of God. When we remember God’s faithful love, we will look beyond
the events recorded in Judges. We will catch a glimpse of God’s presence
and purpose. Whatever may be happening in our lives, let’s remember
this: God is there, and He is fulfilling His purpose of “love and
faithfulness.” In Jesus Christ, the love and faithfulness of God are
seen more clearly than anywhere else. In His healing, we see Him
declaring the “love and faithfulness” of God. Rejoicing in God’s
faithful love, let us say, from our hearts, “Be exalted, O God, above
the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth” (Psalm 57:5).
